About the Institute

The CCR Institute is a private non-profit institution created in 2014 to manage the CCR Group's social investment.

The objective is to expand the concept of mobility through initiatives in education and culture, mobility and sustainable cities, and health and safety. The Institute is in charge of all the management of the incentivized projects, campaigns, volunteering and proprietary programs, such as the Pathways to Citizenship, which serves more than 1,600 public schools, and the Pathways to Health, which offers about 50,000 health care services to truck drivers, motorcyclists, cyclists and urban mobility passengers. In 2022 alone, more than R$49 million was invested in social projects.

Favela 3D: decent housing for more than 230 families

The scenery of shacks, open sewers and dirt of the old Vila Itália favela in São José do Rio Preto/SP is no longer part of the landscape. Renamed Favela Marte, the transformation is taking place before the colonization of the red planet, a narrative created by Edu Lyra, creator of the NGO Gerando Falcões, to motivate and attract partnerships to the cause. And it's working: the CCR Group, through the CCR Institute, has joined the initiative, alongside other major supporting companies.

CCR Group and Jorge Amado House Foundation: support for Culture

The Group CCR , through the Institute CCR, supports various projects and institutions that foster culture throughout Brazil, one of which is the Casa de Jorge Amado Foundation. This support allows Wednesday visits to the Casa de Jorge Amado to be made free of charge, bringing thousands of people to this space of cultural enrichment. The Foundation is responsible for Flipelô (Pelourinho International Literary Festival), which is now in its 7th edition, democratizing access to culture.
