The CCR Institute is celebrating its 6th anniversary

05.10.2020 | Institutional

The CCR Institute was born six years ago (august the 19th) to change people’s lives and support the social and cultural development of the communities. Throughout its journey, two programs made history by supporting the education of children and the health of truck drivers, namely Paths to Citizenship, benefiting 1,300 schools, and Road to Health, serving over 150,000 truck drivers until July 2020.
To witness how important and transformational these programs have been, there is nothing better than hearing someone who has been daily impacted them - Rosa Maria Santos Domingues, supervisor of the Municipal Secretariat of Education of Embu das Artes. She states that Paths to Citizenship has contributed to the education of students for several years.
“Due to the pandemic, the distance learning education, which began in 2019, was a major advance. This year, the topic “Social and Emotional Skills” strengthened our teachers and students, fostering respect, empathy and dialogue. I am proud to be part of the CCR Institute’s history, as together we share knowledge and good traffic practices with students, who disseminate them to their parents”, she affirmed.
Truck driver Ana Maria da Silva Souza holds the Road to Health program very dear. Hit the play and watch her statement!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NNf0WqgwaI&feature=youtu.be
